Energy supplements are not all the same

The category contains several different product types:

  • carbohydrate powders
  • electrolyte products
  • caffeine containing formulas
  • amino acid drinks
  • pre-workouts
  • pre-training food products

A caffeine based pre-workout does not provide the same nutritional input as a carbohydrate product. Likewise, an electrolyte drink should not automatically be described as a carbohydrate or stimulant product.

Carbohydrates for longer or higher-output sessions

Intra Carb+ is the primary drinkable carbohydrate product within this collection.

It is unflavoured and provides 25g Cluster Dextrin per serving, allowing it to be used alone or mixed within a wider training drink setup.

Cream of Rice is the food-style alternative. Each standard serving provides 23g carbohydrate and can be prepared hot, cold or in a shaker. It is more suitable when a bowl or meal-style format is preferred rather than a drink consumed during training.

Hydration within an endurance routine

Electrolyte+ can sit before, during or outside training according to the individual routine.

For longer sessions, it may be used alongside a separate carbohydrate plan. Customers should not assume that the 2.5g carbohydrate supplied by the D-Ribose content makes Electrolyte+ a replacement for a dedicated carbohydrate formula.

Caffeine and stimulant products

Focus+ and PRE Stim PRO are both caffeine containing formulas, but they are positioned differently.

Focus+

  • 200mg caffine best suited for work, study, gaming or training

PRE Stim PRO

  • 300mg best suited for higher-stimulant pre-workout use

Customers should review total caffeine consumed from coffee,
energy drinks, pre-workouts and other supplements.

Caffeine containing products should not be used close to bedtime, by under-18s, during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or where the product warning or professional advice indicates they are unsuitable.

Short sessions vs endurance sessions

A short or low-demand session may require only normal food and water.

Longer or higher-output sessions may lead customers to consider:

  • pre-training carbohydrate
  • fluid and electrolyte intake
  • carbohydrate during training
  • post-training food or protein
  • a practised and repeatable routine.

The correct setup depends on the individual rather than the
collection page prescribing one universal protocol.

Do stimulants improve endurance?

Focus+ and PRE Stim PRO are caffeine containing products which may improve mental and physical performance.

FAQs

What are energy and endurance supplements?

They are products customers may use around demanding or prolonged activity, including carbohydrates, electrolytes, caffeine formulas and amino-acid products.

The category contains several different formula types rather than one universal endurance supplement.

Should I choose Intra Carb+ or Electrolyte+?

Choose Intra Carb+ when the priority is drinkable carbohydrate.

Choose Electrolyte+ when the priority is electrolyte and hydration focused supplementation.

Can I combine Intra Carb+ and Electrolyte+?

Yes, where both carbohydrate and electrolyte intake are part of the plan. Follow both labels and check the final concentration and total ingredients before use.

Is Cream of Rice suitable before training?

Cream of Rice can be used before training when a rice based carbohydrate meal fits the individual’s diet and timing. It provides 23g carbohydrate per standard 30g serving.

Is Focus+ a pre-workout?

Focus+ can be used before training, but it is positioned more broadly for work, study, gaming or other mentally or physically demanding activities.

How much caffeine is in PRE Stim PRO?

Each serving provides 300mg caffeine from PurCaf. It should be treated as a higher-stimulant option rather than a default endurance product.

Can I use a caffeine product late in the day?

This is generally not advisable. Follow the individual product directions, consider your normal bedtime and review total daily
caffeine intake.

Do I need an endurance supplement for every workout?

No.

Product choice should reflect duration, intensity, food intake, environmental conditions and individual tolerance.

Can I use the products for running or cycling?

The formulas may be used within wider running, cycling or hybrid-training routines. Customers should practise their chosen nutrition and hydration setup during training rather than trying a new combination for the first time during an event.
